Shaft of expand/constract for cutter grind
By using this expand/constract grind shaft when regrinding the cutter blade,
the cutter blade can be regrinded to a perfect circle.
When regrinding the cutter blade, a grinding shaft that does not expand
or contract is normally used. There is a gap of about 20-30 microns between
the inner diameter of the cutter blade and the outer diameter of the polishing
shaft. If multiple pieces are polished at the same time in this state,
the outer diameter of the cutter blade will vary by 20-30 microns. With
thin material slits, this variation will change the lap amount and adversely
affect the cutting quality.
By using our hydraulic expansion/constraction grinding shaft, it is possible
to eliminate the gap between the inner diameter of the cutter blade and
the grinding shaft, so it is possible to grind close to a perfect circle.
This eliminates the change in lap amount during slitting and improves the
slitting quality.
We design and manufacture a hydraulic expansion/constraction grind shaft
that matches the inner diameter of the customer's cutter blade.
